When the California Native discovered her great grandmother’s record collection she was introduced to the timeless sounds of 1930’s-60’s big band, jazz, delta blues, and gospel. This sparked her love for songwriting and performing, bringing her distinct vocal stylings and jazz melodies into studio and on stage. Her love for storytelling through music grew to find prominent placements in television, commercials, and cinema, bringing an Emmy nomination in the ‘Best original Song’ category for daytime television at 18 years of age. Her talents are all-encompassing, stretching further than just sounds itself. At nineteen years old she found herself creating the set design for Cage the Elephant’s music video, “Trouble" for their 2017 Grammy award winning album, ‘’Unpeeled” in collaboration with renowned designer Kii Arens. Recognized twice by Vogue online before the age of eighteen, her passion for period costume and attention from the lens can be easily identified by its whimsy nature.
