Adedayor

Adedayo Stephen is an Afro-Urban singer, songwriter with the cognomen Adedayor. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria. Adedayor grew up doing music as a young drummer under the moniker Samsticks, he started professional with the release of his first single in 2014 titled “Cntrl P”, a song which highlighted his distinctive vocal ability, a threshold to his career which has recorded significant growth and successes. He went on a 2 year break and came back in 2016 with singles titled “Hallelujah” and “Follow me”, this comeback spurred him to become a finalist in a competition created by Dj Coublon, a popular producer in the industry.
In 2017, he released another single titled “Expire”, followed it up in 2018 with two singles, “Prayer” and “Las las”. He furthered released two singles in 2019, “Dunmomi” and “Body bang”.
In 2020, he collaborated with Fabulous Pizzy, a favorite among the locals on “Lotto”. A song which intensified his desire to break through the industry and etch his name in the hearts of fans.
His music revolves around acknowledgement and realization of his immediate environment, circumstances plaguing the society and a need to break free from norms and stifling factors that impede growth. Adedayor is never shy to express his views, ideas and spirituality in his music.
“Isheda mi” is his latest single, a song which he featured 9ice, the biggest song of his career till date.
