Adeyemo is an unsigned singer songwriter living in Paisley in Scotland. Follow on Facebook or Instagram to be first to hear about new music.
Named one of the top '10 emerging acts to watch out for' by radio presenter Jim Gellatly, Adeyemo's latest single, 'Social Distance', peaked at Number 11 on the Amazing Radio Chart and was the 'Audition Winner', receiving the most votes from listeners for further airplay. 'Social Distance' has received praise in New York City's Kindline Magazine, as well as in Aldora E-zine. It has also been featured on Keith Community Radio, CamGlen Radio, Ayrshire's Essential Radio and other radio channels.
"One of the finest things coming out of Scotland at the moment is Adeyemo..." - Jim Gellatly on his New Music in Scotland showcase.
"Brilliant...it's too good for me not to play it for you...a real early 90's feel to it." Alistair Braidwood on The Scots Whay Hae Radio Show.
For proponents of the "10,000 hours" theory - this and more was definitely accrued singing into a toy karaoke machine bought for her by her grandparents when she was young. After involvement with various bands in Somerset, Adeyemo spent some years teaching herself songwriting, singing, and music theory (as she had never been taught anything about music at school) while working multiple jobs to support herself. After a year of writing she is ready to release the song ideas she has spent the last ten years crafting; drawing on everything she has learnt along the way.
