Adi Mulahalilović is a multi-platinum, award-winning music composer and producer from Sarajevo, currently based in Los Angeles. His music career began in 1986 when he joined the band Hari Mata Hari as a pianist and composer. From 1987 to 1991, the band rose to become one of the most successful acts in the former Yugoslavia. During his time with them, Adi earned numerous prestigious awards, including the Golden Bird, Diamond Record, and several Platinum Records from Jugoton.
In 1991, Adi left Hari Mata Hari to produce his brother Edo Mulahalilović's platinum album "Jedna je pjesma cijelog života". However, the outbreak of war in the former Yugoslavia disrupted promotional plans and touring. Amidst the Siege of Sarajevo (1992–1995), Adi and Edo continued working on cultural and artistic projects, including composing "Ostani kraj mene", a song that represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest in Ireland.
Between 1996 and 2008, Adi and Edo collaborated on numerous albums for various pop artists, earning more platinum and gold records under Warner Chappell/Unirecords. After Edo's passing in 2010, Adi moved to California and took a hiatus from music. He returned to the industry in 2020, focusing on film and documentary compositions. In 2022, Adi released his first solo album, "Muzikanti", featuring a bonus track, "Poleti."
