ADLS — an artist seeking to reinvigorate listeners with “coffee to their ears”. Distinctly cinematic and thought-provoking—crafted to pull the listener into a dual realm of introspection, and mind rattling sonics. His debut album, Justice Season, pays homage to the understated artists: the ones who study the music and the art, attend the shows, watch the interviews, but never give themselves the platform until their abilities finally meet their taste.
ADLS’s journey in music spans years of quiet experimentation and obsessive listening. His appreciation for different sounds range wide: From Rammstein to Armin Van Buuren — ADLS holds a deep admiration for artists who push sonic boundaries—those bold enough to challenge the status quo and remain outliers in their craft. An era that left a lasting impression on him was the early 2000s trance movement—particularly Tiësto’s iconic 2003 Gelredome performance, which he considers a moment in time that left too soon.
Aadle Faqiryar being of Afghan descent, stated the importance to him that the heritage of his country, the injustices, were not overlooked. His first debut album titled Justice Season carries the weight of a people who have known little beyond war. Through his platform, he hopes to inspire others alike—invoking a sense of hope, liberation, and raw sonic energy.
‘ADL’ (justice), in both Farsi and Arabic, is one of the 99 names of God. “To me, music should reflect that gravitas of purpose.. Something for the people.”
