Admeta String Quartet is an Aarhus based string quartet created in 2019 consisting of four strong-willed women who met at the Royal Academy of Music, Denmark.
All four had in common that they wanted to start a quartet that has the music and the cohesion around it as its goal. They wanted the audience to be touched and moved by the music.
Admeta String Quartet has now created music together for several years and besides playing classical concerts, they have been part of a variety of different projects which consists of recording film music, performing and recording with musicians such as Sune Pors and Dawda Jobarteh, and can often be seen on stage performing both classical, folk and pop music.
