"We adore." This simple phrase is translated from the Latin word, Adoremus, and was the foundation upon which the band was created. It began in 2018 as the solo project for vocalist/drummer, Ben Vasko, with the release of the ep, "Consumed” a short take in Vasko's first attempts at worshipful music.

Over the following years, Vasko brought in a few members and began writing what would become Adoremus’s debut album, "Weaving Fire,” a concept based upon Vasko having nightmares and anxiety attacks about losing his family in a house fire and explores what he would do if it happened for real.

In January and July 2021, the band recorded their most popular string of singles, “Do You Love Me? (Regressing)," “I Pray We'll Be Ok,” and “Run to You” with Dove Award-winning producer and former member of Sanctus Real, Jake Rye. Before the release of "Run to You," Adoremus condensed back down to just Vasko, who followed it up with his first solo effort in years, "Carry Me," in December 2022.

On August 4th, 2023, Adoremus released its latest single, "Fool." Debatably the most transparent track to date for Vasko, the song is an open conversation with God about his shortcomings and his hopeless tenacity to keep trying to "make it" in music for the past 10 years. Despite the esoteric subject matter, we all can find ourselves riddled with pride and will need to eventually echo the final line in the song, "Help me die to myself."
