Adrees (18) is an exciting new artist from Trondheim who was seriously noted when he participated in the last year's TV2 success, The Stream. Universal, Sony and Warner had all Adrees as a favorite, and all of them fought to sign the young talent. It was eventually Universal Music Norway who secured a contract with Adrees, and now focuses on developing him as an artist.
The charming young boy is referred to as a great talent with a powerful vocal. He started playing the guitar as a five-year-old, so there are many years of practice behind his performance.
During the autumn of 2016, Adrees released several songs, which together have streamed over 1,5 million on Spotify. Among these were "Stinkin’ Rich", which Adrees wrote together with Jesper Borgen, Magnus Bertelsen and Tommy La Verdi. Since then, Adrees has spent a lot of time on his music in the studio and is ready to show this to the world.
