Adrian Planitz is a German saxophonist recognized for his powerful high-energy interpretations of classical and contemporary music. His unique style has been shaped in over 20 years of stage experience and more than 1000 stage performances ranging from classical concerts to large music festivals. The traces of his classical studies are clearly noticeable in his very accurate and powerful way of playing his instrument.
Adrian is the heart and soul of 'SAXOBEATZ' DJ & SAX. Together with DJ Yurn the team is performing for companies, hotels and festivals all over Europe.
Since 2018 he features several artists on Spotify such as 'Living Room' with whom he produces ambient, chillout, dub and lo Fi music. Together with the highly talented accordionist Zdravko Zivkovic he is performing classical concerts as ‘Duo modéré’ in the genres of Balkan, Jazz, Tango and Pop.
Adrian studied classical saxophone at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich and at the University of Arts in Berlin. His success is manifested in several classical music awards that he has acquired in Italy, Germany and Russia with his previous project the ‘Arcis Saxophone Quartet’.
