Adrianne Serna is a singer/songwriter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Adrianne Serna is also the (new) artist known as MAD ANNIE.
Why two artist names?
“The MAD ANNIE songs came to me when my personal life was collapsing. And at that same time, my country had seemingly gone crazy. So MAD ANNIE is my creative outlet for expressing and addressing all of that chaos.
But putting the MAD ANNIE songs and the Adrianne Serna songs together on the same album would make for a very incongruous experience. Hence the two different names."
Adrianne Serna’s songs Cozy and “Give the World to You” are featured in season one of the Netflix series “Workin' Moms." Cozy has also been featured on an IKEA tv commercial titled “It’s Under Warranty” and on MTV’s “Jersey Shore."
Adrianne’s song Let It Shine was featured in "The Greening of Whitney Brown" (a feature film starring Brooke Shields and Kris Kristofferson). Let It Shine was also featured on a Ford tv commercial, NBC’s “Minute to Win It,” the CW Network's "The Beautiful Life," MTV’s “Jersey Shore” and “Friendzone,” and Bravo’s “Ladies of London.”
Adrianne Serna’s song Better with You was featured in a Kellogg’s Special K cereal commercial, and also on ABC’s “Jane by Design” and MTV’s “Friendzone.”
Serna’s Coming Home to You was featured on ABC’s “Jane by Design” and “Mistresses” as well as MTV’s “Jersey Shore” and “Friendzone.”
