ADVICE

Kevin Toledo aka ADVICE, a Puerto Rican/Dominican creative born and raised in The Bronx. He is a hip hop artist, teacher, mental health advocate, street film photographer and creative entrepreneur.

Throughout his career ADVICE has provided mental health services across New York City and works as a teaching artist who mentors youth through hip-hop across NYC. Another passion of his is telling stories and painting narratives through street photography to depict a conscious message and bring light to certain issues in society like poverty, injustice through a holistic lens. Now putting his thoughts, experiences and knowledge into artistic outlets in hopes to reach a wider audience and give people hope through his music.

Kevin's work has been featured through other publication platforms including Bronx Narratives, BronxNet, Bronx Times and The Fox and King's B-Sides. He continues to work with non-profits including Thrive Collective, The Point CDC and the NYC Arts in Education Roundtable.
