Using a palette of dynamic textures, Afee expresses her songwriting ideas in an unorthodox manner that is warm and close to the heart.
In 2018, Afee performed an acoustic set at IGNITE! Festival 2018, organised by Republic Polytechnic. In 2019, she featured as a vocalist on “Lost 4ever”, the debut single by Electronic Pop duo BLYC. She was the frontwoman of 2.30 at Somerset, finalists in the Voice of My Generation (VOMG) 2019 by YouthX and NYC.
In 2020, Afee debuted Adore, an Electronic-dreamy Pop single, on various platforms, and even co-directed and produced its Music-Lyric Video, which was released on Youtube.
Moreover, she had participated in Suria's Anugerah 2021 with her brother as a duo by the name of Anak-Anak Haron, finishing as the Top 6. Anak-Anak Haron was subsequently invited to perform at Suria’s Hari Raya Haji show, Rayakustika 2021.
Additionally, Afee participated in Vans Musician Wanted 2021 as the lead vocalist of YISHUN PAN!K, alongside ihasamic!, a rapper, and seantent, a producer. YISHUN PAN!K was in the top 5 in Singapore, representing the nation in the regional round against South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia, finishing as a finalist. They received high praise from judges Sean Miyashiro, Julia Michaels, Denzel Curry and YUNGBLUD.
Afee is now striving to unveil her artistic ability, and to assimilate elements of mainstream pop music with her unconventional outlook on life through song.
