Hailing from Norfolk Virginia Afria Imani is a Jamaican American singer-songwriter, actress & model stationed in Miami Florida, who’s music is Neo soulful reggae R&B sound intended to soothe and ascend the listener.
Her musical inspirations include Nina Simone, Anita Baker, Denise Williams & Smokey Robinson.
Afria began developing her career at the age of 4 by being requested at her Elementary school to sing for various events and talent shows.
By the age of 19 Afria Imani’s presence began rising in the Florida state where she began collaborating with local artist and participating in local performances for venues such as “Trap Voices” , “Unitil3d” The “Miami One” with “Love & Hip-Hop” and “The Hippie Haven”
Afria is currently collaborating and in preparation of a fall project while extending affiliations and networking.
