Aggressive Raisin Cat is a progressive metalcore band from Singapore, known for their unique blend of heavy, technical, yet melodic compositions. Since the release of their debut single Edgelord, followed by Ramen and Cough Bin in 2022, the band has captivated both local and regional audiences with their signature mix of heavy riffs, intricate melodies, and technical prowess—delivering a sound that’s both complex and accessible.
With their high-energy performances, Aggressive Raisin Cat has earned a solid reputation in the local scene, having graced major stages in Singapore, including the renowned Baybeats Festival, and sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed nu-metalcore band Alpha Wolf.
The band is now preparing for the release of their highly anticipated two-track EP, Colour, set to drop in early December 2024. With this new release, Aggressive Raisin Cat promises to elevate their sound, blending melody and aggression with more complex progressive elements, while exploring deeper lyrical themes that showcase the band’s growth and evolving musical direction.
