Labelled by the stable's affiliates as "Pathum Head Honcho", aGuiLa's antics behind the mic run up to seven (11) years and having been actively a rapper since 2013 (which saw him representing Mutare performing at the 2014 edition of the Zim Hip Hop Awards)
The Africa University Alumni realized the need for promoting more music from Mutare and led the brains behind the conceiving of Pathum Records in early 2018, an independent record label. Soon after the establishment of the stable, recording a duet album titled 'Pathum Place' commenced with Pathum Record's in-house producer 'TuPoetiK' AND rapper Arthur Kay on board.
Pathum Place gained nationwide recognition and earned a Zim Hip-Hop Awards 2020 nomination in the Best Group/Duo Category, a positive stride by the label.) aGuiLa released the album 'GuiLaBron' on the 18th of January 2020 to celebrate his birthday with his music lovers and it seems this is becoming a growing tendency since he also released visuals titled 'Something Special' on 18th of January 2021, which served as the 1st single to an upcoming EP with more details to emerge in due course. The Pathum Volume 2 project is also in the works, with a 2022 release date.
