As the lead singer and head songwriter of Charlotte, NC area super-group 'Remy St. Claire' over a decade ago, Alexander is back with a more stripped down western-folk sound with his new solo record "How The West Was Once". Mixing Appalachian-folk, indie-rock, country-western, and a little bit of punk, it is a truly special record in its raw delivery and emotional attachment. Written over a period of 5 or so years off and on and recorded entirely by Alexander himself in his basement studio outside of Charlotte, NC . It's simple, but sometimes simple is just what you need.
