It all started with a stereo, a keyboard, and a Georgia-born/Delaware-raised boy with a dream. The moment Ahmad was able to quote song lyrics as a toddler, he knew he found a new love; that new love was music. From that special day, Ahmad McCown was listening to the sounds of legends such as: Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Luther Vandross. In addition to being introduced to these talented artists, McCown became heavily influenced by artists in the names of Tevin Campbell, Babyface, Boyz II Men, Musiq Soulchild, Donell Jones, and many others. As time went by, McCown decided to use his musical gifts by participating in elementary school choirs and high school talent shows. At that young age, Ahmad knew he wanted to take his talent to a new level. When Ahmad was fifteen years old, he got the chance to work on his musical talents when he received a keyboard as a gift from his parents. While attending high school and college, McCown spent the majority of his time writing and composing original songs. He then went on to join the youth band and the worship team at his local church. Ahmad is known for being very cheerful and laid-back. McCown has been told that he has a high level of maturity, which makes him have an older demeanor. Ahmad also enjoys laughing and reminiscing with his wonderful family and friends. Those who know McCown also consider him as a hardworking individual who has always been so focused on any task he plans on achieving.
