Ahmet Portakal was born in İzmir, Turkey. He completed his undergraduate education in the Department of English Language and Literature at Konya Selçuk University after he was graduated from Fethiye Anatolian Hotel and Tourism Vocational High School. He started his music career as a DJ. Disco, funk, soul, and house music styles he interacted with were reflected in the sound he produced. In 2011, he took the first steps of his production career by releasing the cover of La Isla Bonita – a Madonna classic. He has been meeting the audience with a program called PopCorn, which is one of the most popular radio programs in Turkey, for a long time. He also continues his broadcasting and production life with the podcasts he is recording.
