Ahnom

Music and writing has always been first and foremost catharsis for myself. I've never made music to be famous or to make money, but just to process my emotions and hardships.

My latest and possibly only full length album is "Chamomile". It was made at the end of a very hard time where I had experienced homelessness, cut ties with toxic relationships, and lost someone I loved very much. It was also written during the beginning of a time where I reached stability and began regaining my self-worth and confidence. This is reflected by the album having a kind of "Side A" with the first 8 songs and a "Side B" with the last 8 songs. 8 also happens to be the age I started trying to write poetry.

With that album I let go of a lot of emotional baggage but also a lot of my artistic muses. Who knows what the future holds, but presently I have the desire only to move forward in life and being happy for who I am.

All revenue from my Chamomile will forever be donated to p;ear, a Portland non-profit that mentors homeless youth with art and work programs.
