AHSH (formerly known as Ashley Ruelas) is a producer and artist based in South Central Pennsylvania. Her musical journey began at a young age, changing the lyrics of her favorite songs to tell her own stories. By the age of 12, after learning basic piano and guitar, she stepped into the world of songwriting and began creating original music.

At 14, she released her first track, Your Eyes, under her birth name — marking the beginning of her love for music production, songwriting, and openly expressing her love for women through her art. Raised in a Catholic Mexican household, AHSH once felt the need to hide her identity. Now, ten years later, she transforms that stigma and trauma into songs that celebrate the beauty, depth, and passion of women loving women.

As she continues to grow beyond the walls of her bedroom studio, AHSH is carving out space in reggaeton and other male-dominated genres — telling stories from the woman gaze rather than the male gaze. Her mission is to amplify queer voices and bring a fresh perspective to Latin music. 💅
