Born and raised in Houston and now currently based out of Nashville, Aidan Ogier is a songwriter whose songs explore the quiet intimacies of love and self in the contemporary South. His songs carry lanterns into the human experience, find something timeless, sometimes unnameable, and present them with a simple clarity. Aidan’s music is all a result of his own hard work and meticulous attention to the craft; He does all his own recording, producing, and writing. Along with his own songs, he also frequently participates in the realization of other musical projects as well through recording and touring, his most frequent collaborator being his sister, Emma Ogier. His new song, “Under Your Cover,” is out everywhere August 22.
