As the daughter of a bassist and vocalist, her childhood was equally spent perfecting vocal takes in recording studios as it was on playgrounds and beaches. Citing influences from Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Ari Lennox, as well as Hiatus Kaiyote and Moonchild, Aidan's style grounds the work of futurists in the unassuming and oft-overlooked importance of thriving in the here and now, even if we have nothing more than the certainty of summertime and our right to define happiness.
