Aidin Caye

Aidin Caye is a South African DJ, producer, and creative entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the electronic music scene. He began his career at just 16, earning residencies at clubs and bars across Johannesburg’s East Rand. Known for his distinct sets and ability to connect with diverse crowds, Aidin quickly established himself as a tastemaker in the South African dance music landscape.

In 2015, Aidin released his debut single "Reflections" with Ziyon from Liquideep, later reworked with Mark DVB, gaining traction on South African radio and charts. He spent the subsequent years working behind the scenes with labels and artists and touring with DJ & producer TiMO ODV, aiming to grow the local house & techno
scene.

Aidin established his own brand as a producer with the 2019 single "Hypnotize," achieving significant success independently gaining over 1 million streams and charting in the Top 20 most Shazamed songs in South Africa.

Despite the challenges of 2020, Aidin released his debut EP Connections, showcasing a deeper, more refined sound. Around the same time, he co-produced We Don’t Care on TiMO ODV’s Midnight Children EP, a radio and streaming hit that highlighted Aidin’s versatility across genres.

In 2024, Aidin released his debut album on Soul Candi Records as part of the Electro Candi 5 series. Growing up on the original compilations, the release was a full-circle moment that honoured the label that first introduced him to house music.
