Aileen Downes is a Singer/Songwriter from West Clare Ireland . She recorded her first EP 'Piece of her Heart' with Ian Frawley, drummer from the band Swords which found great success and following from that Aileen recorded her second EP 'Right or Wrong' with producer Dave Keary (Van Morrison) from Red Door Productions. Aileen has also played support to Ocean Color Scene, Sharon Shannon, The Fiddle Case, Wallis Bird, Mono Band featuring Noel Hogan from The Cranberries and Albert Niland in the National Concert Hall. Aileen is currently writing more music and will be back in the recording studio soon. She now joins her husband “Sticks” and both enjoy playing music on cruise ships.
