AILSHA (not Alisha) is the sound of chaos, confidence, and catharsis. Blending ferocious alt-metal riffs with pop sensibilities and tongue-in-cheek lyricism, the Irish artist refuses to be boxed in. A former beauty queen turned composer and producer, AILSHA uses her music to unpack anxiety, identity, and the absurdities of modern life — all with a scream and a wink.
Whether she’s shedding light on her insecurities, screaming about her annoying (but lovely) cat, or confronting anxiety through metal breakdowns and glittery synths, AILSHA creates a space for listeners who’ve never quite fit the mold. Having supported the likes of WARGASM (UK) and Punk Rock Factory, and finishing as runner-up to Bambie Thug in Ireland’s 2024 Eurosong competition with her hit song “Go Tobann,” AILSHA is no stranger to the stage. Her mission — aside from world domination, of course — is to deliver an entertaining live experience where fans can unapologetically be themselves.
When she’s not writing, producing, or performing music, AILSHA works full-time in content creation, hosts her alternative radio show AMPLIFY on RTÉ2XM, plays video games, reads fantasy novels, and enjoys coffee, bubble tea, or matcha lattes. She is also a qualified video game composer and has scored two installments of Big Brother: The Game, the official game for the TV show (how random!).
