Aina Abdul is no stranger to the Malaysian music scene . Fondly known as Aina Mentor, the title derived from the national prime reality television singing competition 'Mentor Legend' which she got selected to participate in 2014. She came into the limelight after becoming the first runner-up of the show under the apprenticeship of Malaysia’s Queen of Rock , Ella.
 
In the same year, she later surprised Malaysia and the world as she rose to win the Senior Grand Vocalist Champion’s title in the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
 
Aina has won her first Anugerah Juara Lagu through her break through song, Semalam in AJL35. She placed 2nd in the competition making that her first AJL win. Later in her 3rd year joining AJL, she won best vocal through her powerhouse vocal song, Sepi, in AJL36.
 
Aina has actively been writing and composing her own material. She believes in originality and that creating her own sound would inspire listeners with her story. Her writing repertoire covers mainly ballad, pop, soul and RnB genre. Naming some of her go to inspirations, such as Melly Goeslaw, Tohpati, Lara Fabian, Lady Gaga, and Adele, Aina hope to become as big as those idols that she grew up listening to.
