AIR APPARENT is the musical alter ego of Atlanta-raised, New York based Indian-American artist and producer Neil Sethi, whose genre-defying electronic sound blends personal vulnerability with bold sonic experimentation. Drawing inspiration from artists like James Blake, Frank Ocean, Mitski, Kaytranada, and Overmono, AIR APPARENT crafts lush, emotionally resonant music that blurs the lines between electronic, pop, and R&B — always rooted in feeling, and always a little surreal.
His latest EP, our june (2025), marks a creative and emotional turning point. Written entirely during a solo journey through Japan, the five-song project explores heartbreak, healing, and memory through shimmering synths and cinematic songwriting — and for the first time, features AIR APPARENT on lead vocals throughout. With its accompanying visuals, including the Tokyo-shot music video for "time heals" directed by Popeye Media, our june expands his artistry into deeper, more immersive territory.
