Air Tapes is a kaleidoscopic artist project from Irish producer Hubie Davison.
Taking inspiration from vintage visions of the future, Air Tapes aims to capture the high-chroma retrofuturism of the mid-20th century and adapt the Jet Age for modern music.
Davison’s previous releases on labels like Leisure System, ReGraded and R&S drew comparisons with Four Tet, Caribou and Nicolas Jaar, and his work as Air Tapes has already found fans at BBC Radio 1, KCRW and KEXP.
