Airwaves on Fire

Airwaves on Fire is a 6-piece punk rock outfit from Petaling Jaya. Bringing back the vibe of the 90s/2000s rock era, audiences can always expect an electric, high voltage show complete with headbanging beats, level-11 guitars & killer hooks.


In 2018 the band released their debut EP, "A Little Spark of Riot!" and were named as one of the Best New Acts by the VIMA Music Awards and had 2 songs, “Lights Ignite” and “Radio Riot” nominated for “Best Rock Song” for the year. Airwaves on Fire also made several notable appearances on Rojak Sessions, Hitz FM MET10, TV3 Borak Kopitiam, Urbanscapes and Minggu Muzik Malaysia.


The band continued releasing new music over the years. Teaming up with the award-winning, JD Wong from Studio 21:05, as their producer. Their new singles were well received by the audience and local radio.


2022 - "Lines on the Floor" and "Cross My Heart" charting in the Top 10 on Malaysian radio
2021 - “Make Me Feel (All These Feelings)” reached #3 on the Hitz FM MET 10 show and was #1 on the Rakita FM Lokalah! Chart Show for 4 consecutive weeks
2020 - “Ride or Die” reached #3 on the Lokalah! Chart in 2019 and Top 10 in Carta Lagu Indie Malaysia (Malaysian Independent Music Charts).
2018 - "My Head's Dead" Top 10 on Hitz FM MET 10
