With a lifelong passion for rhythm and sound, Airwind Music (Aravind Narayan) is an audio engineer and music composer whose journey spans two continents and countless stages. Born in India and based in Pune, he honed his craft by earning a Diploma in Audio Engineering & Music Production, a BA in Performing Arts (Tabla) from Pune, & an MA postgraduate degree in Sound Production from Bath, UK.
A certified Trinity College London drummer, Aravind has performed live across India and the UK, from Bath Spa University’s concert halls to Pune’s theatre festivals, all while composing and engineering scores for dance, theatre, and film.
As in roles ranging from rhythm producer to creative sound designer, he’s tracked, edited, mixed, and mastered projects for theatre, indie artists, and feature films. Guided by a conviction that every note can be elevated through innovation, AirWind combines Indian classical production, cutting-edge vocal processing, and immersive spatial audio to bring stories to life.
Today, he channels this diverse experience into forging fresh sonic experiences, collaborating with artists who share his commitment to excellence and creative exploration.
