Aisyah is a music producer, singer, songwriter and composer known for her luscious arrangements and immersive storytelling. She was recognized for being the first Bruneian to work in the American film music industry through Hans Zimmer’s studio in Los Angeles, and has been a part of the music team for projects such as Walt Disney Pictures’ “Christopher Robin,” Netflix’s “Daybreak,” Marvel’s “Cloak & Dagger,” and many more.
Aisyah was also scoring music for her own collaborations with independent filmmakers, then soon found her calling with songwriting and producing when she wrote the score to James Abrams’ short film ‘Walls’, which included writing and producing her debut single "<a href="spotify:album:0Lac07Ljp4qGYzzwW6OirE" data-name="Memories">Memories</a>" specifically for the film.
After the release of her debut single, Aisyah released her debut EP <a href="spotify:album:1e8VFV9hHg7AdX1EX919iC" data-name="Head in the Clouds">Head in the Clouds</a> towards the end of 2020, which provided dreamy instrumentals, soulful melodies and smooth beats. Her second track on the EP, “<a href="spotify:track:5A0wiYTgAiX8QLMrn4ENOA" data-name="Words">Words</a>”, landed a place in the semi-finals for the 2020 International Songwriting Competition’s (ISC) R&B/Hip-Hop category.
In 2021, Aisyah moved back to Brunei and has produced LoFi tracks inspired by popular video games and anime films/shows for Figurama Collectors; performed vocals on <a href="spotify:album:6qMkuUFi6ZWhc8VaWONPPM" data-name="Al'Naito (The Flame) [from "The Wheel Of Time" soundtrack]">Al'Naito (The Flame) [from "The Wheel Of Time" soundtrack]</a>, a track created by Grammy award-winning and BAFTA-nominated film composer Lorne Balfe; and she has also recorded voiceover for a YouTube series with the Red Cross (IFRC) called “Disaster Experts”.
