Sri Lankan American producer Ashan Mendis (aka AIYA) has been in the electronic dance music scene for over 10 years and his love for dance music has only grown over the years. It all started with AIYA wanting to learn how to professionally dance but along the way he realized that he wanted to make the music that allowed him and so many others to be carefree and uplifted.
AIYA was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where he pursued a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing while producing dance music as an emotional outlet. AIYA took up producing before djing in 2015 because he wanted to speak to people through his original work as soon as he felt ready to. Stay tuned!
