Yo, I go by the name of AJ+ and I am a rapper/vocalist born and raised in Stoke-On-Trent in the United Kingdom.

I grew up mainly on Naija Praise, Gospel and Christian Contemporary Music being played in the house. From this I had developed an early passion for singing and started to play piano from a young age. However, It wasn't till the age of 16 where I started to make beats and write raps after my taste in music had been broadened.

In the Summer of 2019 I released my debut single "Airplane Mode" which displayed my musical style that seeks to incorporate infectious melodies in and around witty raps that flow nicely. After the debut followed a couple of singles that would show versatility and uniqueness in my sound. My latest single "I Can't Breathe" speaks to the pressing issue of racism and police brutality especially in response to the death of George Floyd. Originally the song was a freestyle verse posted on social media, but after attracting 100k views in less than a week on TikTok a full song seemed necessary.

My main aim with making music is to inspire and demonstrate to people that there is more to life than just existing hence the catchphrase "you know I think there's more man." Everyone is here for a reason and carries purpose in their life.
