(Ajobi) Oko Ididu, also known as (H.O.D) is a rising Afrobeat sensation, singer, & soangwriter born on September 15 in the 90s. Originally from Yala the eastern part of Cross River State, Nigeria. Ajobi was raised in Abuja, where he grew up surrounded by the rhythms of his father's music management company, (We Go Yan All Stars) under K.k Sunny production.
Inspired by his father's studio sessions,
Ajobi began crafting his own unique sound, a fusion of Afrobeat rhythms with bold, modern innovation. In 2022, he pioneered the "AfroDepartment" genre and went on to establish his own record label “Baye Department” (B.D) positioning his artistry as the H.O.D of Baye Department.
Ajobi gained widespread attention in 2023 with his viral TikTok single “Guarantee”
