'Pop-rock songwriting, jazz-inflected keyboards which provide the foundation of the music, and funk-inspired bass and horn lines– that is the blend that Ajuni introduces with her debut single "Utopia"'- The Wild City.

Ajuni is the artist name of Chandigarh based musician Anupreet Kaur. In October 2020, she launched her solo career with her single ‘Utopia’- a groovy blend of jazz, funk and pop. The music video for the song won an award at The Tagore International Film Festival, 2020, and was also screened at the acclaimed Vegan Festival in Adelaide, 2021.

Ajuni followed up with her second single ‘Dissociation’, displaying "a seamless fusion between jazz and Indian classical by incorporating sitar along with the upbeat drums, basslines and synths.”- The Indian Music Diaries. The track made it to the 'New Music Friday India' editorial playlist on Spotify.

Her first release of 2021 was the indie pop track 'Night and Day', which was featured in Spotify's 'Fresh Finds'. Ajuni followed up with her much awaited song 'O Crazy One', a mix of jazz and Afro-Cuban influences against contemporary songwriting.
