aka Vinnie

Long before launching his solo project aka Vinnie, Vincent Pergola was already helping shape the sound of modern indie-electronic music as one half of Phantoms. Over the last decade, he’s played a big role in defining their high-energy mix of house and indie influences—earning praise for their live shows, DJ sets, and collaborations with legends like Giorgio Moroder and A-Trak.

Now stepping out under his own name, aka Vinnie marks a fresh chapter that carries the same underground pulse that first got him hooked on making music. The sound blends new-wave indie textures with club-ready energy—nostalgic, melodic, and built for the dance floor.

After his Digitalism “Pogo” edit started making waves, aka Vinnie has doubled down on that fearless early-electro spirit, filtered through his own raw and melodic approach. It’s the sound of a producer evolving—still chasing rhythm and euphoria, but pushing into bolder, more kinetic territory.

Whether behind the decks or in the studio, aka Vinnie captures the same thing that’s driven him from the start: a love of melody, movement, and that late-night spark that ties it all together.
