Akeem Garrison

Akeem Garrison is a Jamaican conscious roots reggae artist, with a melodious voice that makes all music lovers flow to every beat of his songs.

Akeem songs and lyrics are deeply inspired by his life experiences growing up in the Trench Town communities, heart of roots reggae music.

Akeem started performing since a young age with the Trench Town high school quire, but his recording career officially started at the age of 16 with the release of his first two singles “New Girlfriend” and “Tell dem gweh”.
In 2017 he released his first EP collection “Love Story”, a mixture of lover’s rock, where he expresses his smooth emotions side with singles such as “This love’s forever" and “Why my people cry”.

In 2019 Akeem starts recording a collection of deep reggae songs for his TrenchTown Original project. A rootsful sound composed and produced by veteran reggae drummer and percussionist Freddy "steady" Poncin for Mutima Production.

Song titles like "Run From" "Life Set Away" and "Ghetto People" already set the mood for the upcoming releases.
