Akela is an Austrian music producer, DJ and musician living in Vienna. The music project was founded in 2019. Akela released his first song in the Netherlands on Hardwell's label Revealed Recordings and ever since, it's hard to imagine the Austrian house scene without him.
He has numerous releases on well-known labels, such as Sony, Warner, Chapter8, HGM, Halla, Sora, Seal, Zyx and CrashYourSound.
Since 2023 Akela is an official artist of musicbylukas' label TeamMBL.
Akela plays four instruments, guitar, bass, drums and trumpet and has been producing music since 2009 and is also a teacher for electronic music production.
