Growing up surrounded by family members, music and inspired by church services, Akilla developed strong vocal skills. He learned how to harmonize, play the trombone as well as the drums. Since recording songs in October 2023, Akilla has been working in different studios and networking. Akilla's producer and great friend Ben & Jeezy had taught him many valuable lessons not only in music but in life. He's encouraged and helped boost his confidence in pursuing music. "The melodies are an essential part of my mental health and self-expression, my goals as an Artist are to see my progression, perform on stage, and share my love for music. I want to make a name in the South Asian community, showing it's okay to break stereotypes while embracing our culture."
Akilla has worked with artists like Swervo, MonteQ, Geekayy. While creating melodies with his circle of friends back home, he collaborates with artists all over the world. This allows him to tap into a lot of different genres. Attending SAE Institute of Technology in Manhattan allows Akilla to expand his knowledge of music through Audio Engineering. Akilla has plans on making his name even greater for his future through the networks and connections he has.
