Akolade was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Raised in a musically diverse family, he was influenced by multi-genre musicians such as: Fela, Whitney Houston, Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Beyonce, Hillsong, and more.
On the road to Christian Maturity, Akolade became heavily influenced by various worship leaders such as Tasha Cobbs, Kierra Sheard, Phil Wickham, and Travis Green.
It is his greatest desire to see Jesus Christ glorified in every aspect of his life, and to let this fruit show in the ministry of reconciliation and soul winning to which he believes every Christian has been called to.
