Andreas Wendorf, better known by his stage name Akustikrausch, is a German music producer in the electronic music scene. He started his career as a DJ and live act, touring extensively throughout Europe. His roots are firmly planted in techno, with his very first performance at the legendary Berlin techno club Tresor.

Akustikrausch's journey into music production began as early as 1996, using an Amiga to create his first tracks. Over the years, he has evolved from being solely focused on electronic and dance music to producing successful pop tracks and even a children's song. His work on Schnuffel's "Kuschel Song" reached Platinum status in 2008, and the song became a massive international success. It was translated into 14 languages and topped the charts in Germany for eight consecutive weeks.

In 2008, Akustikrausch dropped the single "Diskoschlampe," which rapidly claimed the number one position on the Official Dance Charts. Due to his success, Sony Music signed Akustikrausch. In the following years, he continued to achieve Dance Chart success with tracks like "Ohrbassmus", "Benzin im Blut," and "Kindergeburtstag".

Akustikrausch has also ventured into new musical projects, such as Zooba Rooba and Alysius, and has contributed as a producer to numerous other dance tracks. Nowadays, he is not only an accomplished producer in electronic and dance music but also across various genres, solidifying his reputation as a versatile & innovative artist in the music industry.
