During the 2010s, Albert Dee -- a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer -- emerged from the Queens-area of New York. Inspired by Drake, Kanye West and Eminem, as well as legendary New York hip-hop artists Jay Z and 50 Cent. The New York born Al gradually taught himself how to produce at the tender age of 16. After dropping out of Forest Hills High School months before graduation, Al made the conscious decision to pursue music full time as a producer. By age 18 Al decided that he wanted to expand his purpose in the music industry, and become a well-respected artist. His prolific output switched between swaggering modern hip-hop anthems and woozy R&B-oriented ballads, with relaxed melodic hooks the common element in both modes.
