Drummer Alberto Malo has long put his curiosity and versatility at the service of numerous
singers (Sophie Hunger, Hindi Zahra, Jacques Higelin, Rodolphe Burger, Tété, etc.). For several
years now, he has been leading projects in which he declares his love for trip hop.
Samples, drops and breaks abound in his compositions, where the lyrical warmth of voice
and brass often coexist with the mathematical implacability of drums. Where hip hop, rock
and electronica meet, Malo has found the sounds, structures and dynamics on which his
aesthetic is based.
