Aleks Deejay was started back in 1996 - composing simple tracks and learning the basics of dance music.
Greatly inspired by several different Italian dance artists and always influenced by my surroundings - Aleks Deejay serves as my creative outlet - and in many ways is a good representation of the way I think - or thought at the moment of the different songs creation.
The name Aleks Deejay is because of my middle name Aleksander.
2005 was the year that Aleks Deejay surfaced as he is now - during a high-school-retreat to Cyprus things happened that inspired me to "write" the song "Du Ligger Op Til" (Danish for "Your Hitting On Me With Great Physical Emphasis ) - actually I really don't know the proper translation, but from that point the name "Aleks Deejay" stuck.
