Alessandro Chiantoni studied Piano at the Conservatory “G. Donizetti” of Bergamo and in the same conservatory he graduated with full marks in Organ and Organ Composition.
He is the titular organist of St. Anne's Church in Bergamo and he is regularly invited to give concerts by associations and music festivals on many prestigious instruments.
In 2021 he won the first prize of the “Rotary Club Bergamo Città Alta”.
He improved with prestigious organists of international renown, in particular with Jean Guillou, Jean-Baptiste Monnot, Daniel Roth, Ben Van Oosten, Simone Vebber, Yanka Hekimova, Olivier Latry, Ludgher Lohmann, Francesco Finotti and Frédéric Desenclos.
As a composer, he is involved in works for organ solo and chamber ensembles as well as in transcriptions, and his interests also lead him to the field of organ design, following the construction of new instruments.
