Alessandro Grego

Composer, sound designer and musicologist.
Winner of “Krzysztof Penderecki International Composers' Competition ARBORETUM”.
His electronic work "The Aura - The storm" was selected for preservation by the National Library of France.
He was host of several research centers on electroacoustic music including the IMEB Bourges, the WDR in Cologne and the ICST in Zurich.
Heliossea, created in collaboration with the Italian National Institute of Astrophysics, inaugurated in 2003 in Trieste, the concert at dawn.
His music has been performed at festivals and in the most prestigious national and international concert halls (Salzburg Mozarteum, Brandeburger Theatre, Conservatory of Music of Malaga, Frederick Loewe Theatre in New York, St. Michel Theatre in Brussels, Music Biennale Zagreb, Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Festival "International Days of Music of Composers" in Krakow, Colorado State University, Festival Synthese in Bourges, Centro Tempo Reale in Florence, etc.).
He has written music for drama series produced by RAI, and performed live in collaboration with the Italian C.S.C. - National Film Archive.
His compositions are published by RAI Edizioni Musicali Rai Trade, Bèrben, Carisch and have been recorded for the record label Phoenix, Agora, ARTS, Urbania, AWAL, VDM Records and Tactus. He has taught and lectured at the University of Florence, University of Siena, the SAE School in Ljubljana and the Conservatory "Gioacchino Rossini" of Pesaro.
