Alessandro Rosato is an Italian author and music artist.
He prefers not to be defined by labels. He chooses the word author because, to him, it doesn’t just mean being a published writer, but a creator of worlds. Everything begins with a concept, and it doesn’t matter whether the outcome takes the form of words, visuals, music, or a blend of them all.
Originally from Varese, he has lived in Pavia, Dublin, Florence, Milan, Basel and Barcelona, among other places that shaped his perspective and versatility.
In 2021 he won second place at Giovani Leoni, the Italian advertising award linked to the Cannes Young Lions competition. The following year he published his first novel Zona Franca (Maddali e Bruni), exploring the theme of belonging. In 2024 he published with Feltrinelli Scuola and debuted with his first single <a href="spotify:album:4led0nsEwijtNha5eQOHGX" data-name="Sala d'aspetto">Sala d'aspetto</a>.
His songs, his piano and writings give voice to discomfort and overlooked truths, but also search for freedom.
It is his way of surviving, of creating a place of his own, and perhaps offering one to others.
