Alex Biniaz-Harris, known professionally as <a href="spotify:artist:6uklxPVeaAMFJDpYWydETZ" data-name="Alex BH">Alex BH</a>, is an American pianist, composer, and health advocate.
Alex has premiered his compositions on three continents, and has performed at prestigious venues and festivals such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Greek Theatre, SXSW, and Lollapalooza.
In May 2021 he released his debut EP <a href="spotify:album:5rroptTunJuornlmFPb3c4" data-name="Modes">Modes</a>, an abstract exploration of “modes of persuasion” used to make an effective argument. Logos, the project’s second single, has been featured on notable Spotify playlists like <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX8NTLI2TtZa6" data-name="Intense Studying">Intense Studying</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX9sIqqvKsjG8" data-name="Instrumental Study">Instrumental Study</a>, and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWUXyq4CJGeZ5" data-name="Autumn Piano">Autumn Piano</a>.
Alex has also written film scores for rising star director Burton Chaikin, Capsules and In Other Words, the latter of which premiered at the 2019 Burbank International Film Festival. His most recent collaboration with Chaikin and producer-actor Andrew Sanford, Not Ready, Set Go, is currently being submitted for film festival consideration.
Having spent the last few years recovering from chronic dizziness and psychophysiological insomnia, Alex is releasing an EP of songs related to his healing journey to be released starting in March 2025. He uses his platform to educate people about chronic health issues and, because his artist project is a social enterprise, a portion of all profits goes to health charities of his choice.
