Alex Elena, a born Latina raised in the heart of Los Angeles, has quickly made her mark as an established DJ and producer since embarking on her project in 2021. With an impressive array of gigs both in her homeland and abroad, AE has graced renowned venues such as Sound Nightclub (LA) , Academy (LA) , and Nomad (Toronto).

Recognisable for her hard-hitting drops and her electric performances, her love for DJing stems from the heart of a dancer with proper taste in music ranging from minimal tech house to dark tech grooves. Inspired by the works of household names like Todd Terry, Patrick Topping, Hot Since 82, and Dan Ghenacia to name a few, Alex’s sound is a definitive one, with her sets comprising of low-end drives, techy percussive drums, and hot minimalistic tones.

Alex Elena’s production carries an array of styles giving her variety with open-ended possibilities, not limiting her to one specific sound or genre. Her mission is to bring raw culture back into the electronic scene with a twist of fresh new ideas that breathe new life. She is releasing her first solo EP with Bump N’ Grind and has dedicated this to her Latin American culture with a completely different Ibiza party spin. This 2023 year has been a huge milestone and the years to come will surely be her most significant yet, with top releases looming.
