Irish-Maltese singer-songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:25sAvtZMGTvogKiuQKOAFQ" data-name="Alex Harding">Alex Harding</a> has been composing original music since he got his first guitar at the age of 11. It only took a decade for him to produce something worth hearing, with the release of his 2022 debut EP, <a href="spotify:album:1u5iwT5TMIDGSj0BAnqiQi" data-name="The Zoo of the New">The Zoo of the New</a>. This short project offers four unique tracks, its folk-pop and soft-rock sounds influenced by the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:7FIoB5PHdrMZVC3q2HE5MS" data-name="George Harrison">George Harrison</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:08F3Y3SctIlsOEmKd6dnH8" data-name="Yusuf / Cat Stevens">Yusuf / Cat Stevens</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6eUKZXaKkcviH0Ku9w2n3V" data-name="Ed Sheeran">Ed Sheeran</a>. 2024 will see the release of the new five-track EP The The End, delving into various themes of ending within life and of life itself. Assisted by a lineup of talented musicians, vocalists and producers, Harding's latest effort dips into an array of new sounds and genres, pulling off each with such virtuosic mastery that you will scarcely believe that what you are hearing was created by a human being, and not by some supernatural entity of boundless musical prowess.
